Historia Agraria is a journal specialized in agricultural and rural history, owned by the SEHA (Society for the Study of Agrarian History). It is published in Murcia by the University of Murcia with the support of the University of Zaragoza.
The publication is a meeting point between various disciplines which have in common the analysis of agricultural history and the economy and rural society not only in Spain but also in other areas specifically in Latin America. Its objective is to spread the word to the Spanish speaking world about research related to the history of the rural world in all stages and fields which may be of interest to specialists, covering themes that date back to the beginnings of the feudal system as well as those which exist now.
This journal, which focuses on the agricultural and rural history, is a four monthly publication produced in Spanish specialising in the history of agriculture, economy and rural society. Its’ objective is to disseminate relevant research on agricultural history to all periodicals and fields of interest for specialists. The themes include imperial, theoretical and methodological aspects that will be published in the following sections of the journal: Debates (Discussions), State of affairs, Studies and Notes from research. The journal includes a section dedicated to book reviews and another to the activities of the Sociedad Española de Historia Agraria (SEHA) amongst other scientific associations.
